I enjoyed the bit of information about Rinoa's view of her father. That relationship was always slightly at the periphery of things in FF8. It's nice to see it take light.

That image of the hand with well-manicured nails was a little bit creepy. I feel vaguely like Rinoa is being used by ... something. I wonder if that's a false impression.

The voice in her head that was almost laughing was downright scary. <.< >.>

And as for the comparison between Squall and her father ... interesting observation. I can't help but wonder where you're taking all of this. And you're almost at the climax you say? Hrm.
